Using the HHH Hardwood Fleshing Cone
The HHH Fleshing Cone is a solid hardwood maple backing tool for controlled fleshing, paring and detailed cape preparation.
Support for detailed work
Its tapered shape gives the taxidermist a firm working surface in tight facial areas such as around the eyes, nose, ears and lips. The cone can be used as backing while working carefully with a scalpel or fleshing knife.
Using the taper
Use the portion of the taper that best supports the area being worked, keeping the cape supported against the hardwood surface during detail work.
